The main complication of cosmetic eyelid surgery is under correction. I never want to overcorrect the surgery. In general, a tiny percentage will desire more tissue removal from the upper eyelids. I wait 6 months and if necessary, I take 15 to 20 minutes to perform a “touch up”. When I do this, I don't charge a surgeon's fee but the patient must pay the expenses.
